About
At the edge of Leuven, in the shadow of the Abbey of Vlierbeek and close to the provincial domain in Kessel-Lo, you can stay with Bert!
On the first floor there are 2 rooms for 2 persons and a bathroom, so there is space for a maximum of 4 persons. If desired, breakfast can be served in the guest living room or you can use the breakfast kitchen yourself or have breakfast in the city.
Born in Leuven and raised in Herent, I now call Kessel-Lo my home. I enjoy the nice neighborhood, the city within cycling and bus distance, and the nature nearby. I love being on the go myself and find it enjoyable that people and stories come in when I'm at home. Fascinated by beautiful interiors combining second-hand items and affordable design pieces, I also like to roll up my sleeves. The guest rooms have just been completely renovated: in the cheerful yellow living room, the sun always seems to be shining, and the new bathroom creates an instant happy (pink) feeling.
Bert crossed my path when he was recycled from a second-hand shop in Amsterdam by a friend a few years ago. It wasn't love at first sight with the somewhat faded doll, but I decided to give Bert a chance: if he survived the washing machine, he could stay! And so Bert stayed and has been on the lookout to welcome guests ever since!! However, due to the bright sun, Bert has faded a bit and has since had - as a true star should - a stand-in and help from his Muppet friends!
We look forward to your arrival!
